Title: Ignition control unit of 2.2 petrol

Ignition control unit of 2.2 petrol engine is prone to burning out.

Read this on the net.
Anyone had experience with this?
What are the symptoms?

Unheard of I would say.....cant recall ever seeing a real failure of the ECU

had my 2.2 petrol for 4 years, never had any issues!

Well there was a surprise.
On that site omega is rated better than most Audi's
