My mig decided to start misfireing today
looking at the engine drivers side bank plug 1 and 2 are filled with oil
i presume its blocked oil pipe causing pressure to blow the cam cover gaskets
how much is a fix on this ?
I'm kind of thinking i'll take sensible offers to take it off my hands
its a 2.5 v6 w reg with just shy of 80,000 on the clock
Regards

I think you will find that your breather pipes need cleaning out this is the common cause of the rocker cover gasket blowing and it is a easy do it your self job. cheap to do new gaskets are cheap and you can easily do your self. to good a car just to sell because of this.

problem is i wouldn't even know where to start to fix it
I have no tools to do it and a budget of £0 to be honest
I read the how to guide on here and it scared the hell out of me

Cheapest option is to find a friendly local member who has the know how and can help you do it...gaskets wont set you back too much and other than them there is no other cost if you do it yourself...for the sake of £50-70 is there any point getting a car you dont know that may end up costing you loads and as Omegas go for pretty much nothing you wont get much for it, especially as its misfiring and needing work...
