you need one of those aircon 'bombs'

an aerosol you let off in a closed, running car, leave it 15 mins, come back and fresh as daisies  :y

about £10 in halfords, cheaper on ebay  :y

The AC, when its on, takes the moisture out of the air. Hence the little puddles under the car. If the drains are blocked then the water will acumulate and go stale and smell. Not sure what like, but will smell. Worth checking/cleaning. You can buy cans of de-oderiser for AC systems that you set off inside the car to stop musty smells, but need to find the cause first.

Lidl had a similar air con freshener jobbie for under £2.00 in their car accessories range. Worked well  :y

are you sure its coming from your air con and not the heater matrix ?.it could be a blocked condenser .turn.it,down to low .on auto fan .let it blow cold for ten mins see if that clears it? :y
