im in the process of buying a an omega elite, which you will know had memory driver seat. although the seat on the one i am looking at doesn't come forward enough for the missus to reach the pedal (shes not a dwarf). If you look at the runners for the seat it has 3 notches more it can go forward but stops short. the motor stop so its not like its still trying to mover foward.
in the manual it says there is a manual overide for if the seat is stuck, can i use the override to slide the seat completly forward then tighten it up again ... and problem solved ????????????
any advice please

check the runners for coins or small bits like even a brick or something like that :y

runners look clear. the seat goes all the way back - then when you go forward the motor stops about three notches from the end. but the seat wont go any further so doesn't seem stuck on anything ...

I thought it was a built in safety device to stop women operating complex machinery like an Omega.
