Title: power sounder ????

to add to my other post. the car i am looking at has had a flat battery - so put a new one on, and there is a noise coming from the driverside at the top of the engine bay .. sounds a bit like feedback. when you disconnect the battery it stops

any ideas ?

if its had a flat battery for a while the power sounder will be flat too put battery on and start it up should stop  :y

Thanks, the car hasnt moved for a few mths can i just confirm the power sounder is the very top left of the engine bay under the windscreen we only test drove it round the block as it had no tax, so a good 40 min run should clear it of we were to buy it and having the battery on constant, the guy removes the battery as its not insured so it doesnt get stolen

cool just want to get the car just thought i would check wih some owners on the niggles it has.

as long as i cant get some advice on the seat, i shall be purchasing ... so fingers crossed

there will be a mangled coin in runner bud only way to see is remove the seat  :y

cool... will go and have look, the should the seat com right to the end of the notches ... cause this one stops about 3 notched before the end

it should come as far as the passengers seat use that as a reference  :y

yeah it comes level with the pass seat, but on the runners it has 3 notches to go. so is it not meant to go all the way, cause my missus cant accellerate to the floor

lol yeah i know but she can only half accelerate which i dont think is right .. can someone take a pic of the runner on the drivers side as far foward as it can go ?

As said 'coin' stuck in the runner is the normal problem  :y

thanks richard, will the seat stop. its just the seat on this stops dead and dosent attempt to move forward
