Title: Spark plug insulators / 2.6 coil packs

Hi all. Does anyone know if the plug insulator things for a 2.2 are interchangeable with 2.6? Dealer tells me the 2.2 ones are available individually, whereas the 2.6 ones are only available with the coil pack.

And - I'm now looking to buy coil packs & insulator things for 2.6, both banks - any offers or pointers? (Not enough posts for Parts Wanted)

can't answer Q, but am happy to move a wanted ad to parts for sale if you like. Not that I think you'll get 2nd hand coil packs...

Hi,
The HT plug insulator boots for the 2.2 are not compatible with the 2.6 or 3.2 versions, and yes, they are only available with the complete coil packs.(CPP unit)

The 1,3,5, pack is different to the 2,4,6, (handed)and as far as I know 2.6 packs are same as 3.2

I had to replace a CPP unit about year ago, found that Autovaux were best for price and delivery.
