Title: 2.2 really revving before changing gear when cold
Post by: jampot1979 on 26 June 2009, 14:17:41
Hi,

When I drive the omega from cold, it seems to rev quite high before the auto box changes gear. After a couple of minutes it sorts itself out. Sometimes also it takes awhile to start the car.

Any ideas?

they do hold the gears for longer from cold, for quick warm up cycle, should only be for a minute or so

You need to get the codes read really. They do rev a little ligher when cold to aid the warm up, could be a failing MAF causing the cold starting problem hence needing any stored codes read. HTH :y
