Title: Is it possible to fit traction control to a 2.2
Post by: jemis on 27 June 2009, 00:00:33
Would it be possible to fit traction control to 2.2cdx petrol, if so how hard would it be and what would be needed.
Cheers

Guessing the easiest option would be an LSD rather than trying to potentially trace and plug in witing for the asorted bits and bobs of electrickery that may/may not be required, but there again, always preferred the mechanical approach instead of the elctrical....   ;)

I was just wondering about it, I would only do it if was an easy install I might have a look at the wiring behind the centre console and have a look one day and see if there is wiring already there.

The ABS ecu lacks the functionality, and the Omega 2.2 ecu may not have the code in it to do it.

Certainly not worth the effort on 2.2 - you have to put some effort into wheelspin ;)
