Title: multi-ram test
Post by: Squatch on 30 June 2009, 12:00:43
Do any of you good people know of a method for testing the multi-ram? I have just re built it...previously it had been disconnected at the front! Strangely though it had not been showing a fault code which is why l'm wondering now..

on throttle cable cars, its basically apply full throttle quickly, and you can see the actuators move.

on dbw (such as yours), its the same, but needs 1 in the car to operate the pedal and one to watch.

some diag computers can also make them activate.

Cheers - l will do so. Does it need to be sustained full throttle or just a 'blip'?

in experince, just a blip (or couple of blips anyway) should prove its ok

hard fast blips though  :y
