Title: Air Con Leak under scuttle

Had my A/C gassed up a week or so ago.....hot again already.

UV dye suggests a leak at the rear of the engine bay under the scuttle. Looks like it might be a loose connection, but how do you get to it?

Along with a big MOT failure this week (rear shox + exhaust), I'm getting a bit fed up with the car now!!

have same on mine on very hot days, leak under car back of engine is only water of AC pipes, dont thing this a problem.

I think you mis-understand......

Not a water leak, leak of air con gas/fluid which is only visible under UV light at rear of engine bay

I was given false info by the apprentice....now the main man has taken a peek, says it looks to be a leaky joint, poss o ring, down right hand side under battery area.
Approx 1 hour to strip & repair.....

Does this make more sense?
