Title: fault code

have the following fault code and car in limp mode  any idea on solution

P0700   EOBD Error stored by Transmission Control (TC) Modul

Well off my range of experience but it sounds as though the auto box (I presume you have one?) has a problem.  I also guess that a pukka Tech2 could read the actual problem from the auto box ecu.

From the Gunson list of codes:
P0700 Transmission Control System (MIL Request).  I know that doesn't add much but the auto box codes may well be Omega (or GM) specific.

Probably need to ask someone on here who has Tech2.

you will need a good reader to ask the gearbox what is really wrong.

may be down to low fluid, but could be a host of other issues

As said, you need a good code reader to ask the gearbox what's wrong - the engine fault code you have is just a code to say the gearbox ecu has asked the engine ecu to reduce power and to notify the driver that something ain't right
