flashing eml indicates cat damage possible iirc

do the pedal trick and post the codes

hold brake and throttle down, and turn key, but dont start car, eml will flash out the codes.

Full guide in maint section  :y

Already read the codes jim,but still none the wiser really, would the cat really make you lose power, and problem seems to be intermittant, probably worse when warmed up. ;)

ignore the cat codes for now, they as normal for 3.2 although my car has not been afflicted yet i wont be suprised when it turns up and its probably this that lighting up the eml so probably border line, which means when the car does run it may well go out. As said ignore, for now, its normal/very common.

Covered the tps in other threads, but as Jim says get your head in the foot well and check the pedal switch on gas pedal.

Miss fire relates to pass side bank, under cable tray unfortunately, you need to remove the coil pack check /replace plugs, look at rubber boots see if they are damaged or perished any cracks in the plastic. If you have replaced cp anyway, seem to remember you have from another thread, then check the plug and wiring  to the coil pack.

Hth but try and keep you info on this thread if possible, it helps diagnose if all the info is in one place, and if it drops of the first page bump it. Nobody will mind if its important. :-)

0420 and 0430 codes are cleared again.

0120 and 0220 TPS codes were due to being unplugged and not fully reseated again, sorted now and cleared.

0300 and 0302 weren't showing when Mark got here but 0306 was. So off came the 2, 4, 6 bank dis pack. Split rubber on #6 so temp fix with a good wrap of insulating tape and hey presto, smooth tickover and no codes showing  :) ;) :y
