just checked front discs fitting new pads but i think disc are worn down they look straight forward to change ie single screw holding them on the question is how much to replace and should i get genuine from local vauxhall ( i have a trade card)

I have suffered with pattern, so stick with genuine or top end of branded (ie, not mintex or similar from a factors, as they will sell you the cheap crap that mintex etc make)

Vx brakes are the best bet pattern discs have been known to warp very quickly Vx are a good price on trade club. Pretty straight forward job

thanks for that just found them in a trade book i think doesnt have my model 2.2 but presume they will be same i noticed it says disc and pads do you know if they can be bought separate as i have bought a full set of pads

It's around £110 for pads & discs so just put the pads you already have on the shelf for another time!  :y :y

2.2 takes same as all post 1998 Omegas. Keep the pads for next time :)
