Title: Spare TD wont start.

My spare TD wont start. It has sat for 3 months & the battery went flat. I charged it up & it cranks over fine but doesn't even try to catch. It does fail to run with less than 20 litres, but I left it with a full tank, eml is blinking. Has all the diesel ran back to the tank? or any ideas?

eml blinking is immobliser(I think)

Flashing eml is emobiliser. Is your key rattling?

Thanks , Great result. Tried the other key started immediately. Both keys will lock/unlock doors but eml still blinks for one key. Can I retrain the key 99 minifacelift.

Pop the remote part off the key but careful incase the chip flies out, reseat it with a dab of superglue and try it again :y

Thanks again. The key that won't work had no chip in it????????? Do I need a spare? Where to get one?

You can buy them on ebay...cryptographic chip I think they are called...then will need programming with a Tech2 or "My Naff Code Reader" :y

I wouldn't, has a habit of making a mess of it judging by the increased number of people contacting me because their "My Naff Code Reader" has screwed it up.
