Think I need to get the Autobox filter changed on the gearbox soon as it's starting to not be as smooth on the changing.
Problem is that I went to a friendly exhaust and tyre place to borrow their ramp to look around the gearbox to find which one I have fitted ?.
Couldn't find any markings refering to AR"?" numbers, and the only I and the garage chap could see marked on the box was GM64-04. Anyone know if this is the correct stamp marking for the type of gearbox, or if that's some other marking for something else ?.
I did have a look on Jpat website, but couldn't find anything under a heading of GM64-04 ??.
Anyone advice on this please.
Also has anyone else used Comma Dextron III A3Q transmission oil in their gearbox without any problems ?. As my local auto supplier is selling a 5L bottle for around £17.
As I'm going to do an filter and oil change, I figure it would be best to put some good quality oil back in the box.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards.

it will be AR25. Its on a greenish plate near where the lever shaft is.
General concensus is you can wash out existing filter in parafin, and use instant gasket on the sumps :-/
I personally would consider a better ATF - I use Fuchs Titan 4000 (OOF members get discount from Opie Oils). It will be more expensive than the Comma DIII, but I reckon worth it.

Thanks for the advice The Boy.
I've just registered with Opie Oils, and found the Titan 4000 range. Just got to work out roughly how much I need now to re-fill up the box.
Now to price up the filters from Jpat !!!.
