does any one know of a remap or performance chip for an mv6 and also what to i need to update the ecu software on the car its a w reg  ;D

there are a few chips out there, they do improve power delivery  :y

Not speaking from experience,  but I've heard it doesn't do the fuel consumption any favours.

if its got a autobox i wouldnt. the box wont last long

with mine, there is more (and smoother power) when you want it.

be light footed and the economy is no worse.

I've heard of chips giving better fuel economy than normal map. Having said that, each engine is different. I know there are ebay flashing kits out there, but I would avoid anything like that. Purely because a generic map won't get the best out of your engine. Not only that, but you have no idea what the map is for/what it does - it could roger your engine. Unlikely, but still a possibility.

If you want to chip it, get all the mods done first, anything and everything. That way you can get the most out of everything. I would recommend finding a trusted and known good rolling road tuning place and let them do it properly.
