when i remove the auto ecu will this go or will i have to have it Tech 2'd away

I think you either need to disconnect a wire somewhere, or have tech2 tell the car its now a manual.

np, racking my brains on the wire fix,

I think it may be connect one of the mid wires to ground, but not sure.

It has been covered on here many moons ago.

Ideally tech2, as engine ecu needs to be told its now a manual, I think ABS does as well. MID can be tech2'd or have a wire cut.
