Title: Rear Disks and Brakes ?

What sort of money should i be looking at for a garage to change the rear disks and pads on a V6 please.

I would do them in under 2 hours for both sides. So what ever the garage charges for that plus the parts. Is there now way you can do them yourself, not a hard job and would save on parts too.

I recently had my rear discs and pads replaced by my local independent garage for £157.00 all in incl. VAT.

Been quoted by an independant £140.00 all in...given the price of the bits..might as well let them do it..I'm too old !   46.

Not least I'll be flying down the autobahns of Europe shortly...really don't want to trust such an important job to being done by an amataur like me.
