Title: AirCon Compressor - How much to change it?

Freeking hell, I have had a look and dont fancy this job! Anyone there to give me an idea of how much it would cost to have done by someone else? I have the replacement compressor already.
The car is a 1998 2.5 petrol V6 Elite Auto.
In the meantime I am repairing some major problems with fastenings that the previous supposed specialist has either left missing or incorrectly fitted! As fior the bagpipes, yeah well 2 mountings were broken on that too and the front belt guard is missing.
What happened to any pride in work?
I live in Leicester.

For some reason, when you type in Looknee's proper name it comes up with Bog Roll ::). So just to make it clear JamesV6 and LooKnee do mobile repairs :y

If you have the compressor and one of the guys can do it for you .. go for them ... at an A/c specialists 15 months ago  new compressor, expansion valve (?), filter/dryer with labour and VAT was just shy of £1000  :(
