Title: Ronnie McB's message
Post by: Ron_McB_MK_2 on 29 November 2007, 16:41:01
Hi all

I am not coming back, but wanted to let you guys and gals know that I am back to near normal health again. I still have my back problems - they are not going away.

Anyway, My 1999 CDX Auto Estate is now up for sale as of today. I am listing it Ebay tonight and wanted you to know it is available. Most of you will know the work that was done, but in a nutshell everything was done within the last 6k, including cambelt/tensioners, water pump, both wishbones, drop links etc etc. Car is silver and has a private reg valued at £400 with it. I will take the first £750 cash for it for a quick sale. Car is MoT'd till May and taxed tioll end of January. Runs like a dream and many will know this is one FAST Omega! Needs a couple of bits sorting as usual, rocker gasket weeping again (cheap patern ones used) and one rear door strip peeled back a touch (replace strip). Other than that, it runds like a dream and has the CCRT700 system in and ELITE alloys all round.

Any further info, just e-mail me at adi@icanpass.co.uk.

Cheers all.

ps.... thanks to my Brother who was with us for a couple of weeks. He is now back in South Africa and reminded me today of bloody warm it is there!

Hi Fin,

Good to hear that you're (almost) well again.  :y

Shame you're not back on here, though. I know you're getting rid of the Omega, but that's no excuse.  ;)

I really miss Gertrude.  :'(

Fin.

Good to hear from you mate.
Shame the CDX isn't a facelift otherwise i'd be interested.  I can confirm that is a fast motor.  Couldn't keep up in a 2.5 auto.
Take life easy mate.

Julian
