Title: Drivers door bursts open

Drivers door bursts open for no apparent reason.  Can happen even when stationary with engine running e.g. waiting at traffic lights. When shut normally it is firmly shut and secure.  Door is perfectly aligned in closed position.  Cannot be forced open by pushing from inside.  Mystery.  Any ideas anyone?

how much free play have you got on the outer door handle? on the rod coming off the outer handle inside the door there is a threaded nylon thingy, perhaps worth giving that a few turns to give the handle more play :y
