When turning left or right, forwards and reverse, at slow speed I get a little resistance through the steering wheel.
It feels like it is holding back for a split second then turns, then holds back, then turns.
It requires no more effort to turn the wheel, it just isn't smooth.
The fluid is okay (nice and red) and to the correct level but I don't know when it was last changed if ever. There are no leaks in the system.
Any ideas folks :y :y

could be the power stering pump on its way out

Update on this one......
Took Miggy in to my local tyre place (Mr Tyre ;D).
They suspected the front wheels were out of balance. Stuck them on the machine.............no balance problems :y
They then wanted to check the alignment. Up she went on the ramps and had the gear attached.
8 degrees out. They tried to set it up but found the near side inner track rod end had 5mm of play.
Took her home and popped a new track rod end on.
Back to Mr Tyre and got it all aligned.
Hells bells, its fantastic. Drives straight, doesn't wander and no strange steering wheel movement. I am chuffed to bits. :y :y
