Title: Nearside Bulkhead Drain
Post by: Zuffenhausen on 29 July 2009, 22:37:14
Could someone please post a photo of the nearside drain hole at the bulkhead (below the pollen filter) as we have a small pond with plenty of sludge in the bottom. I have had a poke around but couldn't feel where the water etc should be dtraining away.

mine was the same, full of water and s...t,it was covering the wiring loom thats in there,i tried moving the water around and all the crud, also managed to just get my arm down there,as on the link i pushed some thick wire down, with no result, just didnt seem to want to go into any holes anywhere,in the end i managed to get my finger tips on the edge of the grommet and pushed it through, had no other choise really, you wouldnt believe the crud that drained away to the floor, left it with the grommet still in place but under the hole, worked for me,hope this helps.. jeff

LOL! Same thing this weekend for me too! It must have held nearly a gallon of black cruddy water, which had ruined the pollen filter....... methinks this is an indicator of the level of attention and servicing given to Homer by previous owners... :'(
