Title: siemans ncdc 2015

hello all, new to forum, heard alot of good things about it.
can any one help me with my infotainment system, the 4cd tray does not eject out the display states cd error, also i am looking to activate the handsfree phone kit in the system but i cant find the unit in which the sim card goes, everything else is there microphone etc. a little history about the car it was previously owned by the police so the unit for the sim card and speaker might have been removed! its the one with the colour sat nav system. can any one help out there, or if anyone knows of any tech's around west or north london area please. :)

In mine the unit for the phone card is in the glovebox.

Hmmm, suspect you'll find glovebox empty, and someone has just fitted a 2015 (no plod ones ever came with it).

Phone unit (telematics) looks like this (I mounted mine in bose shelf)

hiya thanks for that, i checked the system it all is original fit with mike and sta nav fit, there seems to be a empty space in the bottom of the glove compartment.
do you know where i can get one and get it linked up to the head unit. any ideas on the cdc cartridge? :)

Familiarise yourself with the security/coding process before buying parts for that system.

Is the connector still in place?

it looks like it is, will have proper look one weekend, cd changer is first priority, do you know of any tech's in my part of town ( slough area)  ::)
