Title: Omega boot lid dampers

Would anyone know wether it is possible to repace the small plastic ball joint type clips at each end of the Omega boot and bonnet telescopic dampers,They are threaded and scew off easily so mustbe replaceable.
 The dampers are fine but the plastic ball joints have broken.
VX dealer told me I would have to replace the complete damper at almost £70 each.

I doubt they are available seperately anywhere your best bet is the breakers or ebay for a second hand pair. As you just want the joints you could just buy a cheap leaking pair and rob the bits you need.

I could do with new dampers competely! My boot slams that hard the light covers drop off and lifting it is like lifting a block of lead! ;D ;D ;D

  This must have took a direct hit on my funny bone as i nearly spat a cup of tea over my monitor when i read it ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D.
