Hi,
I don't know if I'm just being think - but I can't seem to see any helpful info either on the forum or in Haynes about the aux belt on the V6.
i.e how to change it and also changing the tensioner.
Thanks in anticipation.

Hi,
I don't know if I'm just being thick - ......
Yes! ;) There's loads of info!! ;D ;D ;D
To remove the belt you need to slacken by levering the tensioner (top left as you look in the engine bay) to the right (15mm spanner/Tbar & socket) Once the belt is of, the tensioner itself is removed by two Torx headed bolts to the side of the engine! :y :y
Is there not a how-2-do in the maint section? :-/

Or buy the cambelt DVD. All explained in there :y

Its very easy mate :y

as said, 15mm spanner will allow spring loaded tensioner slacken to remove belt.
entire tensioner removed by 2 torx screws

Thanks Chaps - I'll give it a try tomorrow!
I'm assuming that the belt removal has to be done by undoing the screw holding the bracket between the 2 aircon(?) pipes?
Rgds ......... Rob

Correct.
If you are just changing the tensioner pulley undo 15mm nut in center and fit new.
