Hi does anyone know if there is a number on the gearbox so i can see what engine it goes too

bit more info? Auto or manual? Why you asking? Title suggests a 4 pot lump. If auto only aware of ar35 or ar25 boxs and presume 35s are for 3.0 and 3.2
