Title: 2.0 16v auto not reving past 4.5k

Hi all when i put my foot down on the auto its goes fine but when it gets up 2 4.5k it wont go anyhigher and same think if i use kick down

Do the paperclip test mate see what codes you are getting? Post them.
Sounds like the crankshaft sensor code 19

It's a 2.0 so my money is on the cam sensor... don't buy an ebay one though!!!

Car all sorted now got a new sensor for free and now the car drives perfect  ;D :y

Yeh i will do mate.I did notice the the engine management light has gone off now  :y :y

Thats why it wouldnt go past 4500 rpm it was in limp mode if light was on pmsl  :D

symptoms alone suggested cam sensor. glad its sorted
