Post by: dave abra on 04 September 2009, 16:15:10

I have ware on one rear wheel on the inside. Haines manual doesn't really explain how to adjust the camber on the rear. Can anyone help.

Thanks

Hi
Only toe is adjustable at the rear, however if the toe is wrong the tyres will wear unevenly.  Actually camber can be altered, but only by changing the ride height.

The camber on the rear can be adjusted with the tie bar but soak it first in penetrating oil as they will be siezed
this adjusts both the camber and the toe
both sides by the way thney sieze up solid may have to put heat on them if they wont move

Thats how i understand it, but really needs setting correctly at the likes of wheels in motion.
