Title: OMEGA KEY

Hi

I need another key for my omega , the fob part of mine looks like it may have been eaten by the previous owners dog.

I can lock it if i grow my finger nail about an inch long

whats the best way to go about another key . Mine omega is a face lift so it has lock unlock and the boot button on the fob

If i buy a secound hand key could i just use the fob and swap the blade over ???

vx quoted me £140 quid or something soft for a complete key

Martin imber can fix the key, drop him a pm. Best way Is to get a spare is buy new fob and blank blade off eBay and if you have your car pass and tech2 near you. Get one programmed up.

Cheers for the offer ,

My friend of the vauxhall vectra owners club has got me an empty fob case and he said i can just swap over the internals ,

It has come in the post today but has no instructions on how to do it !


Can anybody give me some pointers !

just had it apart , The small rubber nipple on the circuit board for each opperation is missing on the unlock ... swapped over looking very nice apart from unlock ... :-( bummer   the quest continues !
