Title: cold start problem 2.2 echo engine

Hi I am 78, big car was for ill wife, into main dealer 4 times
for cold start problems. sensor fitted.  then three other times in.   now ten key turns to start. cannot afford to change this nice car.  51k steady miles only.
my location Norwich.   Dealer only charged for first visit.

Help wanted.

any replys for mm? your location not near any tech 2 ownin g memebers on here unless you fancy a drive to nottingham if mark dtm has time...?


mean time i would try the pedal trick on the off chance it works on your 2.2, some do, most dont....

this will tell you if any fault codes stored in the engine ecu, IF it works on your car....
