That's shocking.Sorry for the pun.CAF motor factors have some for £35 + vat each at the moment but at the price you quoted it seems you have self levelling ones

No idea how much Elite self levelling ones are, but the job is a doddle.

bloody hell gm ones are under £100 each if you can get a trade card (or find someone who has) and there easy to fit.

another thread has them at £75 + VAT on trade club , my local garage reckon easy job less than an hour to replace both. Mine are both leaking and squeeking , very annoying.

Self levellers are only available from Vauxhall, anything else will just be standard dampers without the levelling bit.

knowing kwick fitup that price will not be for self level shocks of any sort. Avoid the company totally imho.

Best bet is fit yourself, 22 mill bolt at the bottom and 16mill at the top iirc and fit the airline if you have self levelers which are only available from vx.

Monroe do a form of self levelling shocks but as i understand it, they do not work with the pump intergrated with the car but are said to be cheaper.

Or you can fit stock shocks(from vx or any motor factors) and pull fuse 27 to stop the pump spinning constantly, but that also runs the rear 12v socket.

Hi,

My Dad is complaining of both sides leaking on self levelling units on a 3.0 omega. What website did you order off or just as cheap going to vauxhall for a pair.

Thanks,
  John

Gm self levellers are 300 sobs retail last vx quoted me. BUUUUT, if you have a trade club card they are 150 a pair. see link at the bottom of my post for the abs trade club card. £20 for joining, but will easils save that first visit to the parts dept. i would think...

also gather it may be worth googling vauxhall specialists for a price first
