Title: Fitting high beam bulbs

Can anyone give me any tips . Fitting a new set of high beam bulbs to the car . Got the old ones out fine ...but the new ones i just can not get back in been trying for the past 40 mins and gussed it would be best to have a 10 min rest away from the job as the air was getting blue >:( >:( . I Just can not get it to sit right anyone have any tips.

Take the headlights out so u can put them in better.Its only 3 8mm bolts :y

Thanks Miggy ,i think i may have to ...i can see the 2 at the top is the 3rd one easy to get to its on a faceflif and the drivers side light .. Was planing to have this done as a 10 min job  ::) ::).

Remove the underlight trim first and then use an extendable screwdriver capable of taking the 8mm socket. A screwdriver is easier to control than the ratchet.

Alternatively check to see if the bolt may fall onto the road if loosened. That way you don't have to worry about losing it.

When fixing back use sellotape around the edge of the bolt and socket. Sellotape should slide off out of the way.

Look on the bright side, at least you don't have to wrestle with this in 40 deg c heat with high humidity and dripping sweat everywhere.  ;D

 Some cars need the bumper removing to change bulbs, so we're quite lucky I think :y

 Moving the battery back a couple of inches can help with access, s can removing the air filter box :y
