I have looked around here for a maintenance guide for changing the cambelt on a 4-cylinder 2.2 Ecotec but haven't found any. The car is a Facelift 2001 Omega.
Can someone point me to a link where that might be found.
If not is there anything special to consider? I have heard about some kind of jig to lock the camsprockets from rotating for the V6's, is that needed for the 2.2 as well?
Thankful for nay hints.

Have a look in the OOF shop for the 4pot Cambelt DVD

žI think this jig is not necessary on 2.2.

Not essential to have a locking tool, but it would make life much easier.
For the sake of a fiver, I'll get one if ours survives long enough to need another belt.

I assume the 2.2 is basically a bigger version of the 1600 16 valve Astra engine, in which case you do require a cam lock, but nothing like the V6's They're a few quid in the UK
