Guys
I did an oil changer yesterday like i do every 4k but now i get check oil message virtually all the time . The dipstick is sitting just under the full mark, would i be right in thinking there is a sensor that monitors this thats maybe got dirty or something?
Thanks
Phil

I've never seen the diseasal level sensor, but if it's anything like the V6 where the wires sit in oil, then it could be that the wires have become so brittle that one or both have parted company with the switch. I'd to do a bit of re-soldering when i disturbed mine when i replaced the lower sump pan.

thanks for the reply Andy, I will just ignore the check message and check once a week , im not into sump off just for that.

It's a sump off job on theTD then is it? The Senator 24v had its level switch on the side of the sump, easily replaced.
