Title: URGENT ADVICE REQ PLEASE

ey up guys just fitting a clutch to tomocos omega and on removing clutch found pressure plate in two bits !!  :o :o was going to put it back together and there seems to be a lot of movement on the dual mass flywheel ! is this normal ??? i have a spare just want to be sure its ok before fitting clutch ! thanks

Normaly here is 20-30mm of free play

A used one will have some free play, I would expect 20mm, once that is taken up you should feel the springs compressing. Yours sounds typical for a 60k-100k one
I dont know if a new one is completely free of play though.
Shouldnt be noisy though...that sounds like a broken spring. Is it off a petrol or diseasle?

its from a petrol and its done 130k ! definate knock on turning so have changed it ! will post pictures of clutch later !!

Is the petrol and diesel the same, I know the diesel crank sensor picks up off the flywheel.

My diesel pressure plate was the same ::)
