i have problem to take out my cranckshaftsensor. it is hidden under th bracket to the power steering pump. do i have to take it out and the bracket to get to the sensor. have a omega b caravan 99 mod with x20xev engine

Run your hand down the oil dipstick tube until you reach
where it enters the crankcase.
Feel forward, towards the front of the engine, approx
50mm and you'll feel the single mounting bolt and then the
sensor.
Easiest way to change it is to remove the dipstick tube
and plug the hole to stop anything dropping down it, then change the sensor from the top.
You may also need to remove the heatshield from
the exhaust manifold to give you better access.
Re-route the cable as in the original position it`s prone to condensation and oil drips running down to sensor. :y
