Came across this very odd site selling ultrasonic cleaning machines as well as some totally unrelated items:

 http://www.bestultrasonic.com/index.php

I don't know why I would need an ultrasonic cleaner, but strangely I quite want one.  ::) ::)

Oh, and he also sells mechanics toolkits

He also sells airband scanners (which I how I navigated to the site....OK I'm an anorak  :-X).

Oh, it's like all power tools. You just do! And after having one for a few months you'll wonder how you lived without it!

Make sure it is truly an ultrasonic cleaner, not a vibrating motor driven subsonic job like Mrs. KW bought for her jewellery!

Looks like a lot for the money but I like to handle the goods first. Can't really tell what the quality is like. Also, there's lots of AF stuff in there which you'll hardly ever use (unless you develop a passion for Triumph Heralds or something) and no Torx, as far as I can see.

Yep. You need one of them too.

In fact, you need one of these:

500 quid seems a bit steep to watch a few blobs moving around a screen (cheaper to achieve with wife-beater) but it looks like a cool gadget nonetheless!

That ultra cleaner is very cheap, i pay at least £300 for the ones in our lab and they are about the same size, then again we do a lot more than jewellery.

Wouldnt imagine it would last long at that price.

What else could I clean in one? Not one for jewellery.  ::)
