Title: That's me, criminal and public enemy #1
Post by: theolodian on 06 December 2007, 16:29:32
Moronic nanny state.  >:(

Tried to book in to get my teeth cleaned.  They told me it was a legal requirement to see the dentist first since it has been more than a year.  I told them no to both.

My teeth are fine.  I don't need to spend Ģ100-150 over 2 separate visits to get them cleaned!  Guess I'll be doing it abroad.  ::)

Ociffer, ociffrer! Arrest me, I'm a criminal, I'm making my own decisions about how to take care of my teeth!  :o ;D

I'm not sure what they would say in the states.  Not planning to do it there either, can be a hassle, thankfully there are other options.

I know mate, just winds me up when the country gets slagged, i know there are many issues with it that need sorting and i will be the first to have a moan, but there are far worse places to be, and i love GB. I got the jack in my veins.

I know how you feel itīs not very different with me, although i must admit that as i no longer live in the country you could think that i have turned my back on her, but never the less, i am British, and proud of it.

You evil bu99er. I hope you feel ashamed of yourself  :o
Let that be a lesson to you!

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

On a sensible note, Since Dental prices were restructured last year, I tend to get a clean and check all in the one price now,
Cheaper than a checkup, then hygenist as dentist does it all

Yep we were on a shop stewards course together. IIRC he was a convenor from Manchester airport so getting on a plane is prob not a good place to get a toothache. ;D

I have several pairs of Tooth Pullers.

Damn good tools for general use, removing old studs, nuts, etc..

The shape of them makes it very easy to apply lot;s of pressure unlike normal pliars.

An old relative who's long since passed away was into Dentistry and they collected stuff too, got some old victorian tooth pullers, now they look scary.

It's OK if you use a Tooth Puller to pull out old nails. It's the other way around that I am worried about...  :-?
