The shocks on the rear are easy to replace, its the front that starts to make things interesting :y

Self level shocks failed. Oil leaking out will mean no damping, wheels bouncing off bumps and not keeping contact with the road. You may notice the back banging.

Very simple job to replace but they aint cheap. 300 retail, or 150 with a trade club card. See link at the bottom of my post for the card. Only VX make them, or you can just fit normal shocks and pull the self level fuse. Depends if you carry much weight and need the self level option. Hth

if that's the case Ebay your best bet.Mine cost about £700 to uprate and lower but then again i wont buy the cheap stuff. The trouble is as soon as you say lowered  the cheap spring are always rock hard .before buying any ask what the spring rates are.Standard Monroes shocks are about £35 -£45 per pair.If you do the front and back you will need to get them set properly or your tyres will wear out within a few hundred miles.
