Title: ignition/steering lock unit

Hi all. You may recall my car was marooned with the steering lock jammed on. No amount of persuasion could shift it, and pressure from the carpark owners meant brute force had to be applied in the form of a hammer (sorry purists!) Now need a new ignition and steering lock unit, struggling to find one. Are they common to any other Vauxhall/GM models? Might widen my scope a bit

I'd have thought it would be cheaper & easier to fit a complete 2nd hand column. Here's the guide for a tilt column if you don't already have one.  :y :y :y
