Title: Autobox refurb
Post by: Gaffers on 05 October 2009, 11:54:58
I am in the process of refurbing a spare AR25 I have in the garage.  Initial inspection of the sumps show no broken thrust washer (sweet!) so I am about to put an order into JPAT for the spare I will require.  I have looked on the website and I am just a little confused that I will be ordering the right parts:

-Pickup filter - 209 27 01
-Thrust washer (dont know if steel or bronze is best) - 120 22 01 / 120 22 02

The How-to talks about various O rings and gaskets being replaced but I am not sure which ones he means.

Has anyone done this who can check if I have the right part numbers and if the bronze or steel Thrust washer is best?

think mine was bronze  :-/

there is a large paper gasket you want as well, about 50p

are you getting sump gaskets, or using instant stuff?

Iirc, I just mailed them saying I had an AR35, wanted gaskets, filter, thrust washer, paper gaskets, and they specced it up.

ill try and dig out the order....
