however the issue is i have a tinted one in there for medical reasons, the place that did it last time have since gone.
the screen needs a 25% tint added but now i not know where or how to get one
any ideas please
-
As it's for medical reasons is there an organisation that may be able to provide a list of approved suppliers/fitters?
-

Surely a window tinter could do it as long as it meets to 70% transparency regs?
I know the windscreen is convex curved glass, but the films are heat shrunk into place.
Good luck!

Most window tinting companies can tint the screen but, will probably request medical evidence.
I would speak to your insurers windscreen replacement agent (assuming you are claiming on fully comp windscreen cover) as this cant be the first time they have had this requirement.

I have a problem with light, where my pulps don't contract as fast as most people, hence even in dull, cloudy days i have to wear tinted glasses.I found out the replacement windscreen i had fitted was the type that has a mirrored effect(others on here will give it the proper name). On dull days i don't need to wear glasses now.But the only snag is i had to buy a external ariel for the TomTom.

Hello Selseybill, I lived in Selsey for 6 months in the mid 70's.
Is Patrick Moore still the most famous resident?
We used to drink in the Stargazer pub. Happy memories of a great place.

Hi yes Patrick Moore still here along with others ,Christopher Timothy,Jack Dee.Stargazer knocked down about 10 years now, rebuilt as a block of flats. My grandfather used to work there as a boy when it was a train station.(Selsey light railway)We still have people with 6 fingers on each hand and a lot(as am told)wife swapping.

Sad news about the Stargazer Bill, but looks like I made my exit just in time!
I also once owned a HA Van, classic transport mate!

There was a fight about a girl(local bike i was told) and someone got stabbed and died.Within a year people stopped going there and it shut down. But Selsey's still the best place for a pub crawl.5 pubs within 2 minutes of each other. It's changed quite a lot in the last 5 years, new housing estate at the top of village,Lots of "outsiders" working on the farms(there all band from the pubs for making trouble).
