make sure the dash is fully pushed back, taken it out recently?

Check all fuses, and get the codes read. It could be the ABS ECU, random guess you have a V6, 1998 ish?

Hi just read your post. Does the steering fell heavy. If so you have the same prob I have. Its an ECU that controls speedo, ABS, traction control and the power steering. The fault just gets worse and worse until it turns off all together. There are post here that tell you whats wrong and how to fix it.

sadly it's a bit more serious, sound like the patient has an acute case of abs ecu failure, like so many others have done on these pages.

Yep, sounds like ABS ECU failure to me.
