nope, the later keys from AstraH and new Insignia are completely different, and cannot be coded to the Omega

It's even worse. There are several different types just for an Omega before you consider other models.

If you've only got a two button key, I assume yours is an estate then? If so then a three button fob would be of no use as the extra button is to remotely open the boot on saloon cars.

lol - the VAG flip out key must be nearly the same size as most non flip keys, and is massive when flipped!

The Passat we had as a courtesy car, just used the fob bit in the dash, no key blade required. I wondr what that costs to replace?  :-?

2 types of two button squarish and at least 3 designs of two button.

You can have two button insides fitted inside a flip fob, but it is a lot of work.

Takes about a week to do properly including glue drying times.

MUST use slow setting epoxy - I have done 4 so far

I think we've gone of subject on this one, the question is, can you use a three button key fob from a saloon omega with the third button which open's the boot release on a estate omega if you also fitted the boot release motor
