Title: omega cdx turning problem

had a problem last week while turning right into driveway , steering felt very strange, seemed to be locked on right turn , would not free its self , horrible metalic noise from steering colunm, have looked under bonnent , nothing loose, adujusted tilt on steering wheel now seems ok , ..... any ideas ?

This happens to me too if I apply hard lock, except my steering doesn't 'jam'. I don't know what causes it but I have a feeling it may be something to do with the power steering . :)

low fluid perhaps ??? or could it be sticking on the steering stops (dont know if miggy`s have these though)

omega has been ok at the moment , no more noise from the steering coloum, not sure what it was but drives fine , no noise on full lock , cheers to all. jon .
