Title: 2.5td cuts out when warm
Post by: alexandjen on 30 October 2009, 19:29:33
Mate of mine has got a 2.5TD and I may take it off his hands but he says it cuts out when warm. Not much to go on at the moment I know but has anyone else had this problem on a tractor?

You could try paper clipping it ;)

theres a small in line filter fitted to stop dirt getting into the vac pump which controls idle as well as starting its on the o/s bulkhead behind or just above the abs servo unit it'l have a small pipe (3/8)its just a small bog standard in line filter. I came across this by pure chance and it does make a difference.
I'd go for paper clip to be sure
