Title: Hi all and a question about shocks
Post by: magnum427 on 02 November 2009, 16:48:41
I am the proud owmer of a 1998 2.5 v6 auto elite which has self levelling rear suspension. Is it possible to fit standard shock absorbers to this car as original ones cost about £130 each and there doesn't seem to be aftermarket ones and if so whats required as I think they are powered by a compressor.

Only original shocks can be used with self leveling.
You'll probably find some in parts section

None for sale in the parts section at the mo, if anyone knows of someone selling a couple of rears for a saloon I'd be interested.

If you get (access to) a Trade Club card available to Autobahnstormer members they're around £150 for the PAIR. Fill in your profile, there might be someone local to you.  ;)
