at hand i dont know there is a thred on hear, somthing about a bleed valve looks like a tyer valve, push it in to release the air in there and using a compresser pump it back up to ride hight and check the lever on the suspension is clean'd up and working, should be rest then.

Nothing to do or bleed.....it should be automatic.

It might be that your old shocks were buggered resulting in to low a ride height.

You can teak it by bending the actuator arm on the level sensor. This is positioned on the drivers side (UK) rear trailing arm close to the diff.

Isn't ride height is determined by springs ?
Have you correctly installed the rubbers at the top of the shocks ?

determined by springs and shocks.

Not sure about the air assisted, but ride height of standard set up is determined by springs.
I've recently fitted a pair of custom made up-rated, standard ride height front springs and the manufacturers needed a standard sample spring and measurements off the car to get the ride height correct.

Not totaly correct actualy, the MV6 is lowered by the shocks on the rear pre 99

shocks also play a part, even with none self levellers.  Prefacelift MV6 are lowered on shocks alone for example...

:-? I don't get it. Just doesn't make sense. For that to lower the car the shocks would need to have no upward/extending movement at all.
With std springs the shocks would have to be shorter than std and at their maximum extention.

it says in book, remove the old shocks with rear of car off ground, remove air line, let all water out of the systerm, new shocks should stay in closed ( down ) fit bottom bolt lose, then with a air hose rase the locking bolt when it arives in hole ( put bolt on and rubber),then remove the air hose and plug the main line onto it, says do not pull shocks up as will damage the rubber inside. when both side are in place then tighten to specified torque, if the shocks have been pulled in to place shock will drop down and be out of place.

Hi
I assume that the difference in ride height is achieved using different gas pressure in the different dampers fitted to the MV6.

Springs would still dictate the ride height. Shocks would be pulled out to spring length.
