Post by: Hannah Judes Dad on 02 November 2009, 21:54:56
Is there anything that can be done to cure the uneven idle speed on my mig? it hovers around 500 rpm then rythmicaly drops to 350-400 then back to 500 again. It is a continual cycle of 500 500 500 500 350-400 500 500 500 500 and so on

clean the idle control valve, and check for any air leaks.

ehhh? Main symptons from a leaking manifold would be ticking, as well as really loud!

As they have only mentioned idle, most likly ICV/air leak.
